A grant program for new students pursuing the RN to BSN Online Degree Completion Option and who have recently received their RN license within the last five years.

Verification Requirements:

  • ADN graduation date or Original date of RN license must be within five years of acceptance into the RN to BSN Option

Initial Eligibility:

  • Application, acceptance and commitment into the RN to BSN option
  • Not already participating in an Institutional Education Program partner agreement
  • Minimum three credit hours per semester
  • Continuing students are not eligible for this award

    Working Parent Grant – RN to BSN

    • Completed the Employment Verification Form

    Initial Eligibility:

    • Minimum 2.0 CGPA on a 4.0 scale in original nursing program    
    • Licensed registered nurse    
    • Currently working as a registered nurse
    • Ability to claim dependent children on their taxes per IRS guidelines
    • Not already participating in an Institutional Education Program partner agreement
    • Application, acceptance and commitment into the Chamberlain RN to BSN degree completion option
    • Minimum of three credit hours per semester
    • Continuing students are not eligible for this award

    Continued Eligibility:

    • Minimum 2.0 CGPA on a 4.0 scale
    • Minimum of three credit hours per semester

    Next Generation Scholarship

    A merit based scholarship providing tuition assistance for recent high school graduates who have shown exceptional academic performance.

    $2,500 per semester

    Initial Eligibility:

    • Acceptance into a Chamberlain University pre-licensure program
    • Graduated high school in the last 24 months
    • Minimum high school CGPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
    • Meet or exceed at least one of the following minimum scores:
      • 80 on the Chamberlain Admissions Assessment (A2)
      • 24 on the ACT (composite score)
      • 1100 on the SAT (critical reading and mathematical reasoning sections)
    • Minimum 9 credit hours per semester enrollment
    • Continuing students are not eligible for this award

    Written Essay Portion:

    • If you meet the initial eligibility requirements, a written essay will be due by November 27th, 2019. Please speak with your admissions representative or student support advisor to receive the written essay portion of the scholarship.

    Continued Eligibility

    • Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
      • Exceptions subject to Campus President approval
    • Minimum of 9 credit hours per semester enrollment
      • Students who drop below the enrollment minimum will lose their scholarship going forward, regardless of future enrollment levels
      • Exceptions subject to Campus President approval

    Deadline: Written essays for the January 2020 session will be due by November 27th, 2019. Winners will be notified before the start of the January 2020 session.


    Continuing Education Scholarship – BSN

    • Minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale from all prior institutions
    • Continuing students are not eligible for this award

    Continuing Eligibility:

    • Minimum CGPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
    • Minimum enrollment of two credit hours per semester

    Certified First Responder Scholarship

    A merit based scholarship providing tuition assistance to certified or licensed first responders (EMT, Paramedic, Fire Fighter, etc.) looking to pursue a pre-licensure BSN degree at Chamberlain.

    $1,000 per semester

    Initial Eligibility:

      • Certification from a National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMTS)
      • Certification or Licensure as an EMT or Paramedic
    • Meet or exceed a score of 80 on the Chamberlain Admission Assessment (A2)
    • Minimum CGPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
    • Minimum 9 credit hours per semester enrollment
    • Continuing students are not eligible for this award

    Continuing Eligibility:

    Chamberlain Opportunity Scholarship

    A merit based scholarship for new pre-licensure BSN students.  Intended to reward academically excellent students who choose Chamberlain.

    $1,000 per semester
    (Up to $6,000)

    Initial Eligibility:  

    • Acceptance into a Chamberlain University pre-licensure program
    • Meet or exceed a score of 80 on the A2
    • Continuing students are not eligible for this award

    Continued Eligibility:

    • Minimum of 9 CH/semester enrollment

    Horizon Scholarship

    A need-based scholarship providing tuition assistance for new students who have shown exceptional need.

    $2,500 per semester

    • Acceptance into a Chamberlain pre-licensure program
    • Meet or exceed a score of 75 on the A2 
    • FAFSA Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $0
    • Minimum CGPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale from all prior institutions
    • Continuing students are not eligible for this award

    Continuing Eligibility:

    • Minimum CGPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
    • Minimum enrollment of two credit hours per semester

    Bridge Scholarship

    A merit-based scholarship for new students previously enrolled in a CCNE- or ACEN- accredited baccalaureate nursing program at another institution.

    $2,500 per semester

    Navigate to Nursing (N2N) Scholarship Program

    A merit based scholarship providing tuition assistance and student services charges to allow qualified high school seniors to begin earning college credit toward their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree while still in high school. All credits are completed under the predetermined Navigate to Nursing scholarship program curriculum.

    Assistance covering 100 percent of tuition and student services charges for N2N Curriculum Courses*

    Verification Requirements:

    • Submission of official high school transcripts
    • Submission of application and parental consent form for applicants under the age of 18

    • Minimum high school CGPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale

    DAISY Honoree Scholarship

    A scholarship for Registered Nurses who have won The DAISY Award, The DAISY Team Award, The DAISY Nurse Leader Award, The DAISY in Training Award or The DAISY Faculty Award through The DAISY Foundation.
