Credit for Military Training

Chamberlain recognizes the valuable knowledge, training and experience gained through service.

Students in the Military to BSN Option will take three military-specific courses that bridge the gap between previously gained knowledge, skills and abilities and the expected learning outcomes in the BSN program’s foundational courses.

Upon successful completion, students will receive an additional 13 proficiency credit hours though Chamberlain’s College Military Articulation Plan (CMAP), allowing them the opportunity to earn their degree in as few as six semesters of full-time study.

Seeing advanced medical procedures right before my eyes motivated me to gain the knowledge and experience to provide a higher level of care. The fatalities I saw in the field solidified my decision to become a nurse.
